Gabion Box
Gabion box are wire containers made of hexagonal wire netting.wire diameter varies with the hexagonal nettings.
for hexagonal wire netting without pvc coating,the wire diameter ranges from 2.0mm to 4.0mm.
for those PVC coated hexagonal wire netting,the outside diameter ranges from 3.0mm to 4.5mm.
The wire of the outside frame edga is one wire gauge thicker than the wire used for hexagonal wire netting.
"Welded Gabion box" / "gabion basket" / "gabion reataining wall" / "stone box"/ "gabion mattress" " gabion wall" " stone wall" are high quality steel mesh.
They can be filled on site with hard durable stone materials to form mass gravity retaining structures.
Owing to their inflexibility, welded gabions can not adapt to differential settlement or be used in water courses.
In comparison with woven wire gabions, welded gabions offer a higher strength.
In order to meet different project requirements, various wire diameters and unit sizes are available for welded gabion boxes.
